Phosphating is a chemical process producing fine-crystalline phosphates from phosphoric acid solutions on metal surfaces.

These phosphate layers are deep-seated in the metal surface and show numerous hollows and capillaries. Thanks to these characteristics the surfaces have excellent properties for absorbing diverse waxes, oils and passivation coatings.
Therefore, phosphate layers provide excellent protection against corrosion or ensure good adhesion of additionally applied lacquer and plastic coatings. Furthermore, the layers reduce friction and wear and are electrically non-conductive. Rust can hardly form under damaged phosphate layers.

In our zinc-phosphating workshop we can treat work pieces with dimensions of up to 1.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 m.
If required the work pieces can be oiled after phosphating.

If you would like to find out if a phosphate layer is suitable for your application, we would be happy to arrange a meeting with you.

We look forward to your enquiry!
